Tablet WiFi Always Says 'Poor'

    why is my tablet wifi always say poor i got a hipstreet equinox 4 ,i got a good routor no other issues all cell phones connect no problem.

    Is it poor at multiple locations or just on your router? Tablet chipsets typically treat WiFi differently than most phones so it isn't necessarily a direct comparison. You may want to check the link in my sig for some WiFi tips.

    i only use this at my house but it goes from excellent to poor?i got a new bell 801 routor.

    Did you look at my suggestions? It would help if you could test it somewhere else. That would rule out the tablet or an app as a part of the problem

    what is the usual distance a tablet can work at.

    That varies so much and for so many reasons there is no good answer. It depends on walls, construction, type of signal, router, interference etc,

    If you can get more specific maybe we can give an estimate.
