Thinking of buying a 7" tablet from China.

    Concerns:

    1. Not comfortable with the idea that manufacturer would install a custom version of OS and I can't reinstall it. I don't want the manufacturer to modify/install anything.

    2. Battery - who manufactures these batteries? Are they safe to use? There have been cases of batteries overheating.

There have been cases of phone and laptop batteries overheating. Also faulty adapters.

My concern is who manufactures these batteries? What about Quality Control? If its a branded product, chances are they have been tested.

There are so many Chinese manufacturers selling these 7" tablets.

I'm not asking for model suggestions here. Just saying not comfortable with the idea that the product would have custom version of OS pre installed which can't be removed.
