Here is some more Huwaei news. The online retailer site "Expansys" has a decent sale on the Huwaei IDEOS S7 Slim 7-inch. They have it for only $140 and include free shipping. Here are the specs of the device:

• Bluetooth 2.1

• Google Android 2.2 (Froyo)

This isn't a half bad deal, although pretty soon we will likely see some more powerful tabs for only a bit more. Still, an Android tablet for less than $150, could be worth the money as a tinker-device.

Beware of resistive touch screens on inexpensive tablets. The specs don't say if it is capacitive or resistive.

My guess is that this model's touchscreen is resistive, and its being cleared out at low price to make room for a newer model with a capacitive touchscreen and later version of Android Operating system

The S7 Slim has a capacitive screen and is actually a well built tablet.
