Hello All,

Last week I made the journey: Rooted my nook and installed CM7.

I'm stretching my comfort now, and trying to return it to stock.

The process as I understand it is to use the CMR on a SD card to do the following:

mounts and storage
format system
format data
then install the zip file - nook-complete-restore-1.01

The formatting of the system is working fine. However, when I try to format the data, I get the following - Error formatting /data!

I attempted to then install from the zip file and reboot. Everything appears to be going fine, but the Nook doesn't move beyond the large n graphic at bootup.

Can someone help me get over this bump in the road?

Thank you.

I used the CMW on SD card, and the 1.2 non rooted file on XDA, and it worked fine - when CMW came up, choose install zip from SD card, then navigate to zip, let it do its thing, then take the card out when you reboot. Should work the same way with the file you are using!

majakat,

Thanks for the help. I'm totally new at this, and trying to gain an understanding through the school of hard knocks. I'll give you thoughts a whirl. Can you either explain or point me to a link that describes "manual nooter"? This whole thing seems pretty manual to me.

Thanks.
