So Samsung has managed to redesign the Galaxy Note since the last time they presented it at MWC, bringing back a redesign with an integrated stylus sheath, but at the cost of a smaller stylus. The reduced stylus size shouldn't completely be a deal breaker for those who value accuracy over style, as Samsung is offering an optional S Pen holding kit accessory that widens the girth of the stylus to a standard pen size.

Android tablets with styluses traditionally have not sold very well, but it is hopeful that the Galaxy Note 10.1 can break the mold and follow in the steps of the successful Galaxy Note. The superior processing power of the quad-core Exynos should improve the stylus experience in reducing drawing lag present in previous generation devices such as the dual-core Cortex A9 Galaxy Note and Thinkpad tablet, which were rather inadequate to handle full capabilities of the Wacom stylus. With an expected availability of June this year, this will become the best performing stylus equipped embedded tablet on the market.
