It has occurred to me that there will be times when (on a train for example) that there will be no internet connection and wondered what use my tablet will be. I sort of wondered if I could download and save something, ie short film/tv program to watch during the journey. No doubt this is possible and some would say easy, but not if you are new to this scene. So maybe a kind soul would explain in not to difficult terms, how it's done please.

When you're in range, either go to a book or video site using the browser on your tablet or an app and download the books and videos of your choice.

Whatever you download will go to the storage on your tablet. If you D/L books and videos via apps, the apps will generally create a library and access them for you. I'm not familiar with your tablet, but if the apps don't appear on your homescreen you'll have to create a shortcut to them there. Pressing an empty space on the screen should bring up a menu that will allow you to do that for apps, widgets, wallpaper etc.
