Toshiba has issued a press release regarding their newest flagship tablet, the Excite 10. The 16GB version of the tablet will be available in retail channels on March 6th, for $529.99. The 32GB version will retail for $599.99. Here's a recap on the specs, followed by a full press release:
    • 10.1-inch 1280×800 LED display
    • 1.2GHz dual-core OMAP 4430 processor
    • Android 3.2 Honeycomb (although Android 4.0 is coming)
    • micro-USB and HDMI® ports
    • A micro-SD slot
    • Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® connectivity
    • Stereo speakers with exclusive sound enhancements by Toshiba and SRS® Labs
    • Front and back HD cameras - 1080p video recording and video chatting
    • 8 Hours Battery Life
The specs are pretty good, but the price seems a bit steep. Share your perspective.

I don't understand why they don't use Excite x10 for the states instead of 10 LE... What is LE anyway?

Might be worth the cost if it had a Tegra3 on board.... it is pretty damn light & thin!
