Touchscreen accuracy of the 7042

I find that the accuracy of the touchscreen on the 7042 is not that great. When clicking icons there is no problem, but when clicking links on a web page or something small like that, it seems like it takes a few tries to click on the right thing even if you click on the same spot 3 times. I don't particularly have fat fingers so I don't think that is it.

I know some phones will have a way to correct the accuracy by having you click on pre-determined boxes in a utility mode. Has anyone found anything like that?

you can check the accuracy in the setting
under developer options
enable pointer location and show touches

that does help a bit.. looks like some of my touches are off-center.. at least according to the show touches. i disagree as I think i am touching the center.
