Trouble with WiFi

For over 2 weeks now I have not been able to use anyone’s free wifi with my Trio tablet. If the provider’s website allows me to even check the box to say that I agree with the terms I no sooner establish a connection before I get an internal server error message and the machine disconnects me. I have had the problem at McDonald’s; Lowes; Staples and Simon Malls. Everything worked OK until week before last. Anyone have any ideas as to what is wrong?
