i already have directv and dish in my home.

DirectTV is locked up tight. There are no apps that will communicate with thier recorder /receiver. They have a desktop pc package that allows watching recorded tv on your computer.

Hi djvanz, with no HDMI output on either tablet or dock, there's currently no way to hook the Tablet S up to a big-screen TV.

Dish network has app called DISH Remote access in PlayStore. might want to look into that.
