hello i have an acer tablet and have yet to figure out how to download or transfer files from my tablet onto my usb storage device(usb stick).the option of tranfering to usb device is nowhere in site.i would like to view some of my school pdfs without having an internet connection....can someone assist me on the matter?

Welcome to the forum, glad you joined.
The are a few apps that allow you to do that by accessing your tablet from your PC and the app will see the external storage, but it's possible all you really need is a different file manager, (which is the way you copy/cut/paste from internal to external memory. Try ES File Explorer or Total Commander, (dual pane).
You should, when attaching the thumb drive, at least get a notification that your tablet sees it but you didn't mention that.
