Yeah it must be the CPU.

You can set the CPU type in menuconfig under System Type>ARM system type

I'm not sure which option to choose for your Telechips Cortex A8, the output of the following command might help:
Code:
cat /proc/cpuinfo

edit: a little googling shows "TCC8803".

Try this one:

Thanks for helping to try to get this working for everyone!

I still get the exec error when trying to use insmod with the TCC8803 module on my 7022. It also vanishes upon reboot. I have placed it in the same folder as other kernel modules, /lib/modules/ where there are currently the following listed:
cgvuart.ko
ehci-hcd.ko
ohci-hcd.ko
tcc_mtd.ko
tcc_nand.ko
ufsd.ko

I did set permissions to rw-r--r-- and owner to root/root using Root Explorer, same as the other modules. I have no /system/utmodules folder, which is why I put it in /lib/modules with the others, but as I said, it vanishes upon reboot. Any suggestiongs?

Is there any chance you can get the PS3 controller to work on the BlackBerry PlayBook? The device now support running of Android apps (with some limitations).
