usb to power cable?

do you guys think this is possible? i own a usb 5000mAh battery pack for the iphone and i would like to use it to charge motorola xoom. i need to investigate which pins to use on the usb type a.

Worth a shot. Worst case, you have a charger and cable that don't work.

I hate to be a killjoy, but the very brief manual that came with my xoom specifically says not to plug any usb into the mobile power adapter that plugs into the wall. I take this to mean that this device will not charge through the mini usb port, but only through the round peg slot specifically designed for recharging. I have seen the recharging unit by igo that uses 2 AA batteries to give you some more time, but I can not find a tip for the xoom and do not know if they even make one. I am going to Europe soon and face the same challenges. good luck for the both of us.
