    Hi all,

Just bought a tf101 as a new toy..........the question is what should I do with it? I work in training and use a lot of power point from a laptop. I want to try using android, as an educational tool.

    Any advice all?

    Welcome to the forum Doely

As far as what you've asked to this point Powerpoint isn't a problem as far as displaying. There are many options for displaying presentations and if on line even a few for creating or modifying PPT files. Your TF101 may not totally replace a laptop but it could come really close.

Thanks for joining us here Scott!

I will say that I do not think that it will be able to replace a laptop for presentations unless:

The presentations are fairly simply formatted (no fancy animations and such) and only require minor tweaking

Your projector has HDMI input and can support 720p resolution.

Personally, I still stick to a laptop for presentations and training. You may have a different opinion but I encourage you to try it. Just be sure to get one at a store that has a good return policy.
