using gps without internet connection

Hey all i have a galaxy tap, and i would like to know if ever their is a way to use my gps while i have no internet connection or any other data plan!
Is their an app somewhere that work only with gps

You didn't mention which Galaxy Tab you have, but if it's one that has GPS you have a couple options. The first is to use Google Maps to plan a route in advance while connected to the Internet and it will guide you on that route. If you deviate from that route it may have some problems but should correct itself when you are back on the route again

Your second option would be to check out some of the paid GPS apps on the Google store, like Sygic, which will let you pre-download the ,maps so it would work anywhere.
