Hi,

I've tried to use two different memory sticks on my Transformer TF101, but neither seems to register. Am I doing something wrong, or is it not possible to use sticks for storage or file transfer?

You are trying to plug them into the USB port? Have you looked for it via file manager app like file explorer, es file explorer or root explorer? It is not like a PC where it is just going to pop up a window showing what is on the drive.

Hi, thanks for that. I had looked in the 'removable' folder, but didn't see it there. I've looked for the two folders you mentioned but only found 'root'. Is there anywhere else i should be looking?

/sdcard, /sdcard2, /usbdrive (or something like that) are also possibilities.

Just as an FYI, on my WITS device, the USB mounts as disk0.

Also I have heard that some tablets have difficulty powering a memory stick via the USB port, and that sometimes a powered USB hub might be needed to provide the required voltage.

thanks for that DanU; will look into both of those.

I've notices that no USB device works in the netbook
