Using Slingbox with Vizio Tab?

Hey everyone,

I am looking into purchasing a Slingbox and would like to use it with my Vizio Tablet.

On the Android Market, it says that the Slingplayer for Phones software will work with the Vizio Tab, but the Slingplayer for Tablets says it is not compatible. Has anyone used the Slingplayer software with their VTab? How does it work?

Just wanted to get some feedback on this item. Keep up the great work with the info everyone!

It should work. As an alternative, consider the Vulkano Flow. It costs around $100,
and from my experience with the unit's legacy product (HAVA Platinum), it should work fine with the Vizio Tablet. Of course, streaming content will only be as good as your broadband capability.

Sling mobile client works just fine on Visio.

Vulkano (Hava) client works fine too.

Yes it works great using the DISH Network app for VTAB!
