If you look at your charger I'm sure you'll find that it handles Voltages from 100 to 240 (US usually 110v Europe for the most part 220v) but you will need a (shaver) adapter plug.
Forgot to mention that if you are going to visit several countries try to find one of the (more expensive) multi country adaptors. Practically every country in Europe uses different socket outlets with Italy being the worst of them, it can have different sockets in diferent hotels in the same street!
Edit: I just remembered, one hotel in Rome that I stayed in had different outlets in different rooms, the reception desk had a box of different adaptors!
