I noticed that there is one video and one audio format that is supported. Can I convert these formats to the format I need with Premiere Elements, either Windows Media or MP3?

Just use Mobo player. no need to convert at all.

Mobo is not a fix all.
It did play some of my videos but with no sound.
I downloaded Freemaker Video Converter and converted my movies to android.
Everyone plays now.

I use Xilisoft for converting any kinds of Media (Audio/Video).

You can also convert Video to Audio if you wanted. I already tried converting an .mkv (Matroska format) to .mpg, mpeg4, .3gp, .avi, etc. and all works and played to my Tablet. :D
