View files and dir on Windows XP machine on Android 2.1

Is it possible to view files on my Windows XP machine in my Android tablet ? There is Wifi router on the windows machine and I connect to internet with the same wifi router. I want to play music and movies stored on Hard disk of my computer streamed via Wifi on my android tablet..... is this possible ?

Yes of course. You can try to use ES File Explorer and browse, copy etc. all files shared on You Windows XP.
