Vtab Disassembly

Anyone ever open up a Vtab? With the issues I've read with the headphone jack and the likelyhood of a marginal battery a few years on, I'm wondering how difficult it is to open this thing up. Not that I'm quite ready to try it just yet...

I am trying to open up a Vtab1008 right now, but it is giving me hell. I've got a set of safe pry tools but they are not strong enough and a fine tip flat head screwdriver is damaging the bezel. The USB connector needs to be replaced but I can't get the thing open. Anyone have any advice on how to do this? I've looked on YouTube but haven't found anything specific to this device.

Woo-hoo, got it open with the safe pry tools and the advice to start on the long side with no buttons.

Great video. I've saved a copy of it for reference in case I ever need to open mine up. The pry tools look like guitar picks.
