Want to Flush Tablet

I am android tablet newbie. I bought an HCl m champ tablet, and wish to remove the kids section and upgrade my tab to kitkat- the tab is 1ghz single core, 1 GB ram, the storage is 1 GB tablet memory & 2gb band both internally. can I upgrade it to kit kat 4.4.4 and remove the kid icon permanently residing on left side of notification bar. HCl me v3 have similar configuration (I believe but with a sim slot) can I flush my tab with the software of the later and how to do it. please help
