Weird Flashing...

So randomly today, sometime after my tablet's battery ran out while I was at school, it started flashing a blue background with 3 icons (music, movies and pictures), and will not stop. I've done a factory reset (very hard to do I might add with this flashing going on) and the problem still is occurring. Here's a link to the video:

Does anyone have any idea of how to get this to stop??? Thanks!

Is it fully re-charged?
If not. Long press the power button till it shuts off an charge it overnight.
Make sure the power switch light comes on (if not your charger may be to blame).


If you've already done that it might be that it damaged the battery by letting it go below its safe level.
The battery could be confused about its charge state and hovering on the edge of automatic shutdown.
