Gaining root access is indeed very easy

Recovering all your data after a snafu, that's when you start wishing you had not fiddled with things..

What in the world are you people loading on the tablet that requires all of the app space?

Two or three ereaders plus angry birds alone can eat up some significant real estate. This tab only has 175MB of app space and it disappears quickly.

I have

Android System Info
Beautiful Widgets
ES File Explorer
FBReader
Guns'n'Glory
LED Scroller
Mint.com
MixZing (plus premium update)
MSN Droid X
nook
Playa Control for Winamp
Wells Fargo
and XDA

and I've used a little over 100mb of app space. There's really no need for 500 apps on this thing and Angry Birds sucks to play on it.

Edit: Oh yeah, I also have Beautiful Live Weather and Jumpgate Free LWPs, too.

Why have more than one ereader - just keep the occasionally used on your sdcard as an apk and install it using App Installer if and when reqd

There is one essential missing from the above list Mybackup Pro

If you do screw up either rooted or otherwise...

Honestly, don't see a need for MBPro. I have nothing on the tablet that needs to be backed up or restored should I have to factory reset it.
