Why can't I open downloaded files on my tablet its not an apple make but has android 4 software?
When I try it says can't open file

What are the files that you are downloading?

If they are EXE files that will never happen as those would be for Windows.

Also, if they are MS Office files ( .DOC, .PPT, .XLS etc. ), you may need to install an Office app.
