1.) The problem with the Video is the problem of FROYO... The cookers at AndroidTablet.net Coby thread already shared a Gingerbread for 7024. It will also speed up your tablet and the battery will last longer.
2.) B and M softbutton key can be disabled. Please do more research. or just read the forum.

Wi-Fi - at last in MID1024 model, WiFi antenna is in the lower left corner in the back when the device is in landscape mode and with the silver button on right. So if you hold the tablet by this corner (normal while using it in landscape), signal will drop a lot! Workarounds: use a support to free the lower left corner or use it in portrait mode with silver button on bottom.
Video and soft buttons can be fixed installing Gingerbread (does not require rooting but it will void its warranty).
