My son and I both just got Nexus 7 tablets. I want to put my books on mine and he wants to put his comics on his. On the Kindle Fire there is a folder called "Books" to put books in and comics go in "Documents". Since the Nexus 7 doesn't have a folder called "Books", where do they go? Where do comics go? Does anyone know?

It depends on the app you're using. For example, Aldiko Book Reader will place its library at /mnt/sdcard/ebooks. Some apps such as CoolReader don't create their own directories and simply scan files from a directory you create.

It took a while to find the folder. Thanks for steering me in the right direction!
