Which model do we have?? MID7020 or MID7024

I was buying coby kyros MID7024 at J&R. Salesperson kept saying "70204g" which sounds the same as "7024". Anyway when i came home i discovered that i actually bought coby kyros MID7020 4g which seems to be a copy of MID7024 by look and characteristics.
Question1: Does anybody know what the hell is going on at coby factory so they don't even have the item MID7020 at website?
Question2: Have anybody found any difference between those two models?

seems like coby is selling other MID's but have different name of the model and as i can see that's just the same with the 7024. Hope that coby should update their website if they are releasing other MID's. oh well, hope you enjoy your unit. update us if you notice something unusual with it.. =)

I've read somewhere that this 7020 model it has the same processor as the 7015 (Telechips TTC8902), but with the webcam and android 2.2.
Can you confirm that?

that's it marilia! my MID7020 really has different cpu from MID7024

MID7020 - ARM1176 (720 MHz)
MID7024 - Samsung S5PV210 (Cortex A8) (1Ghz)

though it's not the same as in MID7015 (Telechips TTC8902), it's same as in MID7005!! (only frequency is different) MID7005 has 800MHz.

few more differences I've found:
microSD max 16GB (no microSDHC)
battery 4000 mAh

Is it possible that it is my processor that is to blame for i cant install neither ANY version of adobe flash player nor any market solution from this forum?

Sticker on the box says "does not support Adobe Flash playback" how come? It's android 2.2 so there should be a way to get flash working!?

go to freewarelovers.com and search for the adobe flash player then download if from your tablet, then thats it..

I did that so many times already with all versions of adobe flash player and ended up with "application not installed" message...

AFAIK Flash doesn't support ARM11 processors, but I've read somewhere that there is a patched version that my work. Look for ARM9 or ARM11 version, that may run also in 7015/7016 (I even think there is a thread about it somewhere else in this very forum).

i can get it for 99,99€, but i am not sure that i will be the right choice, are you satisfied with this tablet and the overall performance, or would you rather have the mid7024 (mp724) with the 1Ghz processor (in my country for 170€).

How is the support, any good forums you would recommend?
Are there any other ROM’s to upgrade, I see that it has android 2.2, any chance of a custom honeycomb (vegavomb,…)

I am really thinking of buying a 7inch tablet, but am not sure of this one, the lack of capacitive touch screen and not being able to upgrade the ROM is a real deal breaker for me.

Please give me some advice, thenks J

No way to install Honeycomb on either of those tablets so far, just a HC themed Gingerbread for 7024.

If you can, go for 7024 specially if you want to play games. If you just need it for reading (no Flash on web), then any will do it.

I've got same tablet (Mpman MP720 = MID 7020 by Coby) with Gingerbread 2.3 and I don't found any resource (ROM, upgrade, ecc.).
