So I bought a Kyros to play around with and it has some issues. Terrible wifi, a little slow etc but what do you expect out of a $140 product. I am in the process of returning it and I figured I would throw another $250 and get a better device.

What do I need?
Fast boot up.
good wifi connection
gaming
watch video's(avi's etc)
reading
multi touch screen
hdmi out
upgrade to honeycomb when it comes out.(or root it which I can do with good instructions)
7-10in screen

I have read the nook is nice for $250 and the Viewsonic G Tab looks nice as well.

I looked thru this forum but didnt see many threads discussing this.

or should I wait a few months for the market to be flooded with devices?

G-Tablet does all that you need. There are several Honeycomb BETAs out there now. Won't be long till we have a fully functional product. HDMI out is obtained with the dock from electroniccrap.com.

More info on the G-Tablet here.
