I guess this is a dumb or obvious question but could someone explain why some apps are not available for the vtad?

The latest flash is one example. For another, I was reading the announcement for the new release of Springpad and thought I'd give it a try. No dice, says it requires ver 2.1 or better. Check, got that covered. But then the app store says not comparable with your device. Anyone know why?
Thanks for educating the dummy

Some apps require features that are not available on the Vtab. A rear facing camera for one, That is why we can not get tag code readers (which is included in springpad). Things like flash, Newer version are not cleared (optimized) for Vizio so they block the upgrade.

Vizio's excuse is that goolge has not cleared the VTAB's skinned OS for access to some of the apps. Once google approves, then access should open up.

Thanks so much for a clear answer. Hard to know why we can't have an app just because 1 feature isn't supported tho. Sounds almost as draconian as those iOther guys.
