Why Does My Toshiba Laptop Battery Life Keep Decreasing Every Time I Unplug It?

This problem started happening recently. Every time I unplug my laptop to use it, the expectancy on it goes lower and lower every time, where its at about 30 minutes now, compared to 90 minutes about a year ago. Also, it seems to decrease a minute or so every time I recharge and unplug it. I already recalibrated the toshiba satellite c650-17n battery, but it doesn't seem to have made a difference. Do I need a new laptop battery or could there be something worse? Thanks

Most likely it's normal deterioration of the battery. Heat is probably the biggest enemy of batteries, and the inside of most laptops gets pretty hot.
