Not a lot of info to go on. Tablet? Router, reset the router or the tablet?

Gonna take a WAG anyway.

An authentication problem usually indicates your an input of a password the router doesn't like, or you didn't have a good enough signal for the router to see it. The router should be restarted after a 30 second full power down. Then if that doesn't work tap the connection you see as your router and tell it to forget, then tap again and re-input your security.

If you are using WEP security you may want to consider switching to WPA/WPA2. Android has issues with WEP.

This is probably a bit late but have you tried clicking on the connection and putting in the WPA/WSK number on the bottom or where ever it is on your modem in password then hit connect?

are you using any kind of MDM to push these settings out or are you manually entering them (the long way)?
