having a problem with my wifi link. I use a bt hub for access but my sony s keeps goning to btfon connection.how do I make my bt hub my default wifi connection?

Just forget the btfon connection in WiFi settings (not from UK i presume that both connections are WiFi)

I no longer use BT, but from memory I believe your Hub automatically operates as a free hotspot for other signed up BT clients. Obviously your device is picking up the HotSpot signal. I'd have a chat with BT to see how to either switch off the hotspot or how to access your Hub normally.
