i just bought a proscan 10.1 inch internet tablet and very proficent working with pc's and smart but not with tablets wifi says connected by when i click on browser nothing can anyone help me get started with this tablet?

There are a few things that can cause that, the most common is junk in the router, that may not be affecting anything else but Android so a restart of the router would help. (Any time you make a change tap the connection, tell it forget then reconnect). Also having WEP security with some tablets is a problem. WPA is more certain to work. A change in the channel you're using in the router may also be a good idea. I have additional help n WiFi connections in a link below.
