I am looking for a low cost, rugged and seaworthy yacht navigation system on a tablet. If you have been there and done it, please tell me:
[1] What tablet do you recommend? [2] Will it take 12volts DC & if not, how do you power from 12v DC? [3] How much did it cost?
[4] What software do you recommend? [5] What do you like about it? [6] Can it run raster charts based on UKHO paper charts?
[7]How do you input GPS and AIS? [8] How much is the software?
