Zepad Android lockup

I have a zepad tablet. It was working fine for a number of months but for the last 2 weeks I have not been able to use it because each time I turn it on I get a flashing screen with 'Android' on it and the machine locks up. I can't get past the screen. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem? Stu
