Is there an App to unzip ZIP files. If so then perhaps I could zip up a big folder on my Windows 7 PC of such as a few hundred MP3. Then download it to an Android Tablet, unzip it and drag the folder to a Home page.

If this is possible others could do so with Cloud or One Drive perhaps.

Actually I remember now at last ( old age ! ) when I ran a number of other Linux none of them recognised ZIP files either. Instead they opened .tar.gz files or allowed you to compact any files into such.

So like me you need to run a Google search using Windows for the free 7zFM or 7-Zip software. Then compact your MP3 etc files with that before copying into a Flash Drive. Hopefully by just tapping on any .tar.gz file with your Android Tablet it will open it up ready for dragging the contents.

I have now ordered a refurbished Asus Nexus and will report on my findings in due course.
