Can you say that three-times fast?.... LOL

This is the item I was viewing:

I believe this "car dock" might be able to charge the tablet (it's for the nexus 7 2013) and using the NFC feature (NFC "tags"?) it will launch an application and/or change the "profile" for the device.

Did I get that right? I haven't seen any way to "program" the NFC tags yet.

the arm seems to be of a good length and can be adjusted up&down a lot. I don't know for sure it it has wireless charging, as it states that the charging port isn't obscured. I didn't see any wires in the photos either.

Well, it's a "car dock," but it's not from the manufacturer. But it looks like it might be the closest thing to one.

Opinions? This seems like a mount that could be useful. Using the NFC tags the tablet would know when it is in the vehicle or leaving the vehicle.

The only thing I don't like much is that it uses a suction-cup mount that requires a disk to be attached to the vehicle's dashboard.

Does anyone know what the NFC spec or chipset is, on the Nexus 7/13? Some NFC tags are not compatible with certain phones.
