Tab vs. Tab2

Can someone tell me why the Tab 10.1 wifi + 3g is more expensive than Tab2 10.1 wifi + 3g?

If I'm not wrong, the technical is the Tab2 better than Tab.

I was looking at the Tab 10.1 and the Tab 2 10.1 and noticed the same thing.

Seems like the Tab 2 is the way to go.

Looking at them side by side (Tablet Comparison Chart - Compare 2012 Tablet PCs)

Tab/Tab2 comparison (Only showing specs that are different):
Storage Expansion: none / microSD
Thickness: 0.3" / 0.38"
USB Host: No / Yes
Front Camera: 2MP / VGA
Camera Flash: Yes / No

So, the original is thinner, better front camera and a rear camera flash. New one has USB and microSD for storage expansion and other devices.

And no, I do not know why the Tab2 is so much cheaper.

Have ordered Tab2 yesterday:
+ USB is important for me;
+ Storage expansion (interesting for the future);
+ Think the front-camera will be good enough for Skype-calls;
+ off course the price -> not big difference but can spend that money for a case

So: 524 euro's for Samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1 3G Wifi Titanium Silver + Anymode Vip Case Black

2 days of testing the Tab. Really happy with my choise!

Can wark about 2 days without charging while regularly usage. May be more if I always turn the wifi & 3g off when don't need it!
