It's a hardware fault then. If you've a warranty I suggest you send it back under that, though undo all rooting and possible reset the tablet before you send it back since it will contain person details? Richardo

Install firmware using this method. You'll be on the most up to date firmware and, as far as I know, it should work for you guys as it's a self booting SD card. I hope this sorts you all out, Richardo

I've forgotten the size but they're 2* 3.6V 3200mAh (the mAh rating seems to depend on when you got it) and they're hooked together in SERIES (As it's a 7.4V system) By the way, take care in prising the screen out (Ie when undoing the 4 tab things to take the screen out) as I cracked mine but...

Bug report, anyone else having trouble getting it to sleep and not getting the 6 recent app list when you hold down the home button? I can only see that screen when I press the on screen home button. Also, any other way to install FB reader which doesn't need a usba-usba cable? Thank you...

You have an unofficial update which means the update program will *not* show up any recent updates. The .1561 is also an unofficial update so won't show up. I hope this helps, R.C.

Hmm, have you tried to install again from an SD card? Apparently some of the files sometimes don't copy properly so you might need to do a couple of installs before it "sticks"? Hope this helps, Richardo

I'm asking my supllier (Androidtime.com) for another one before that happens... Otherwise I'd just suggest you get one of those portable dvd player multi-adaptors... They might work... Hope this helps, Richardo
