Bought mine from Amazon for $300 and got a remanufactured dock for $89 also (shipped). Specs (from your link) are from the Asus website. It is a Transformer. I had a Gtab, which is a great tablet. Nearly all the same features as the Transformer, but the Transformer is a much better over-all...
There are many other ROMs to be found. You could try Slatedroid.com or Tabletaroms.com amount others.

I am a recovering Windoze user. I have Ubuntu on my laptop and a dual boot home PC with XP and Ubuntu as the primary. I use the Ubuntu 1 app from the market and transfer files from my Tibackup folder to it for storage. Its a few more steps, but I don't mind.

OK, first check the flytouch variant section. You have a superpad 3. Second, there is a whole thread to set up your GPS so it will function.

Have you gotten any further? It seems as though progress has slowed/stopped. Will there be a "new breed" of SuperPADs out with CM7 by summer 2012 (without pending zombie apocalypse, of course)?
