So I just contacted minus to see if they can give me access to the old downloads so I can mirror them somewhere for history's sake. My current tablet is now a Coby Kyros that I have a custom partition map on with a modified ICS rom.

That's entirely correct. You would have to start by tearing apart the stock rom and then reverse engineer the bootup process, then port a recovery, then you could load a compatible rom build with patches for your device hardware and firmware.

The exploded battery was actually from the one that had full usb otg flashing support. My friend gave me his a week ago, but I went out and got the new cvs craig tablet for $50 its so much easier to hack and it even comes rooted! And its capacitive, ICS, and skype compatible. So far all I need...

sounds just like where I orginally started. So you have a cwr that loads on device now but you have improper mounts? is that it? Im not too familliar with your model but it sounds like its the same setup. If you have your wip source for the recovery i could take a look at it. And to all the...

Alright I'm back from my attempt to enjoy the end of summer. I'm about a week and a half into the new semester and I recently setup a new dedicated build server and switched to jellybean source. I know I'm horrible at getting releasables out but on that note, to the discussion above I DID...

Sorry I have been busy programming for side jobs lately. The sytabex7s battery actually exploded but its OK since it can run off just direct power. I think I'll try to just release the current test build I'm using on the sytabex7 since I know I've been increasingly busy lately.

Well I'm a developer that really hoped I wouldn't be working on this alone. I released tools and documentation. Anyone can currently make their own custom stock kang. As you see, no one has. Unfortunately its been just me with little support or help. I made an irc channel and always reply every...

well its certainly not bricked. When these devices are bricked they can no longer turn on at all.

It might need a full iuw recovery, (using the ius) I'd suggest looking into verifying your hwver somehow first since there are two versions for the mx, altho it sounds like there may only be one ius floating around. I'd really hate to hear anyone bricked. =[

Well for starters remove the recovery image, then add the system.img and ramdisk.img if that doesnt do it, add all the ones from the zip (which will wipe your data)

My sd img is the safest way since the images im uploading to use with it do not contain a bootloader image and thereby cant brick the device.

This sdcard method will guarantee that even if this ius isnt right you cant be bricked. I'm uploading the files now. You can first try deleting the recovery image from your android folder then adding ramdisk and system from this archive. If that still doesn't work you can add userdata and uImage...

This should be the ius: http://dg-support2a.com/update/11.2.7.5/SYTABA7MX_Android_132869.ius I'll go ahead and break it down to the flashable images for you. And if you want to know why recovery doesn't work, it has to do with an update that repartitioned the device. The developers replaced...
