Onda have a bad habit of using casing which means the USB connector sits really deep. I don't know is this is the case with this model but I , and others, have had success by cutting back the cover of the OTG cable to expose more connector with our machines. I have a V973.

That the keyboard is an extra 100 shows they still haven't worked out why it's failed.

So after a few days I can confirm this is really a step change in the performance of the A973. A couple of quirks here and there but it's by and large stable , fast and fluid now. I remain unconvinced the battery life is any better.

I'd agree with all of that. They really need to work on the stability, and quick. I love the screen. It's great for reading and watching videos but the overall stability, even with the new OS version, is really not good enough.
