[Petition] Optimize your App! A List of Developer Petitions

Okay. This deserves a bump. C'mon, people! This deserves signing! Petition requests are accepted and will be created within 24 hours and posted here for others to sign, as well. Smaller app developers will probably respond more quickly than large companies - keep that in mind. But still...

[Petition] Optimize your App! A List of Developer Petitions

Hello all! See below for this thread on other forums. XDA-Developers ==================== Click here to subscribe to this thread. I recommend it! I'm a Nexus 10 owner. I love my device, but I'm a bit tired of facing applications that are low-resolution and unoptimized for the incredible...

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean - Device List

Jelly Bean is like a dream come true, even on my old Galaxy S. Everything is so smooth...finally, something that makes Android FEEL polished! I'm not sure about it being faster than Windows 8's UI (I'm running it on my PC now); it is really smooth. I'm sure that smoothness would be apparent on...

Proof that Google is More Innovative than Apple, Plus the Myth of 'Pinch-to-Zoom'

I'VE ALWAYS WONDERED THAT, why Safari is one way, locked scrolling, and the Android browser isn't! They actually specifically designed it that way? Interesting. I guess that's why! Makes total sense now. Thanks for posting this here.

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean - Device List

Click here to subscribe to the latest thread updates. Some of you might remember me from a while back. I created a device list for the then-latest version of Android: 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich. Well, I thought I'd put another device compilation thread together for Jelly Bean! Seeing how popular the...

Calling all Canadians: JELLY BEAN IS HERE (99% sure)

Hey all! I was just on the dedicated ASUS Transformer Forums, posting about my latest firmware update in Canada. It was about 1:00AM, and I was just shutting down my TF300T, but I decided to check for the Jelly Bean update one last time before I shut down. I checked for the update, but it said...

    Rooting for Flash?

AFAIK, Leeshor, ASUS warns you when you do the Jelly Bean update that both Flash Player and Wi-Fi Direct will cease to function once Jelly Bean is installed. That's what I've read, anyway - I haven't gotten the update on my TF300T yet.

Do you think I should get the nexus 7 tablet if I got a galaxy s3 ?

Just to mention it, Adobe has brought out that they will provide support for Flash on the Galaxy S III running Jelly Bean. I dunno, maybe they got an exclusivity agreement with Samsung about it. However, Flash Player is no longer available on the Android Market (Edit: Play Store, lol, still...

Do you think I should get the nexus 7 tablet if I got a galaxy s3 ?

Hey Madarox, welcome to the forums. The main thing I got from this is you are worrying that you will use the tablet, because you will prefer it over the Galaxy S III for many tasks. I see nothing wrong with that; that isn't a reason not to get it. Not using the Galaxy S III because something...

    Tablet for wife

Personally, the 300 is still the best tablet in it's price range for features and performance without the keyboard dock. You don't need to buy it to purchase the tablet. I know of NO other comparable tablets that cost $399, have a Tegra 3 SoC, have Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean, a MicroSD slot, and...

    Anybody else get Jellybean?

Sadly, no...I myself haven't got Jelly Bean on my 300. I'm really hoping that they're rolling it out in Canada at the same time as they are in the States, because if not, that would be a bummer. ASUS has always been the best for software updates anyway, of any manufacturer that I know of; so I'm...

Encryption Failed on an Assus Tablet

Heya, welcome to the forums. I have a TF300T too, I just purchased in in fact. I used to have a TF100, so I consider myself fairly well versed with them. Anyway, did you just get the tablet? When did the issue start appearing? It LOOKS like you tried to encrypt the data on your tablet, but some...

    Ice Cream Sandwich Device List

Great! Well, ATM I'm using it on my Galaxy S. Those guys at XDA are awesome;) I'm running the CyanogenMod 10 Alpha edition. So far, I'm liking the smoothness in the Google Apps, like Currents, and all around UI benefits. The S isn't the best hardware wise anymore, but it handles Jelly Bean...

    Ice Cream Sandwich Device List

Heya all! I know I haven't been around for a while, but I'm thinking of kickstarting back up my device threads. Thanks for all the support with this one! I was shocked by the amount of viewers it got. Anyway, I was thinking of setting up another one for Jelly Bean - personally, I'm loving it...

Apps without a Google Account could side-load it by downloading an app manually through a website hosting said app (there are a great number). However, I really don't understand your apprehension. Not having a Google Account is crippling your Android device's capabilities regarding apps. It's simply a hassle to do...
