Thanks for all the advice. I've NV Flashed it, and reinstalled the original tapntap. Now I'm working on installing clockwork mod. I'm a newbie, but so far so good
I tried removing the recovery folder. No dice.
Installed ROM Manager from the market. Even with this installed, the device doesn't boot into clockwork mod. It just starts over. Holding power/volume up just hangs.
I'm sure I'm making a major newbie mistake or two here.
Thanks. That 's what I thought, but what's happening for me is that I get
Recovery Key Detected
Booting recovery kernel image
And then it doesn't do anything else. Not at all what happened when I updated from stock to BC 1.2
Anyone have thoughts?
I did, but my google-fu has failed me. However, I did manage to accidentally fix it. I noticed that the date was wrong on the tab ... fixed that and the certificate problem disappeared for all the involved apps.
thanks
On my stock Viewsonic G, I have recently been getting a "Not Trusted Server Certificate" error that keeps me from accessing the Amazon market, gReader and Zinio in the Readers Hub.
Same problem on two different wifi systems I tried it on.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
