Well it looks like fb is back to not working on my tab. Its fine on my phone but a500 won't load it or won't load it correctly when it does. Yes I cleared cache etc.

now it seems like i cannot select teh networks int he Wi-Fi networks screen. it just locks up and cannot modify the settings.

My A500 was working fine up to a few days ago. Now it just says obtaining ip. Never seems to get one. Rebooted and re-added the network still nothing. I am running 3.2 kernel 2.6.36.3+ Any thoughts?

Not really. Post 4 said nothing about SSL. And I did read the providers www docs and even they said nothing about SSL. I fact they said not to use it. I just tried the settings until I got one to work. Like I said I hope this helps someone else out.

I think I just figured it out... !!!!! Happy dance... sorry... The security setting of none... I changed it from none to ssl if available. Now i get email.... whoopie... So even their documentation said no ssl but its working with it. sorry very happy i figured this out. Hope it helps others out.
