For a week or so, the Asus EEE Pad Transformer TF700 Infinity (did I get that right?) has been available for preorder here in Norway, with a current ETA of June 20.

I have emailed Navionics begging them to release their app for Xoom.
Last weekend I extracted the .apk from my rooted Desire Z and installed in on my Xoom without any problems at all. I then used the Xoom to plot a route, and then jumped into my boat and used the Xoom to navigate for 3,5 hours...
It was released today, and I have uploaded the file here:

Haven't tried it yet (I'm at work), but will perform the upgrade on my S7 tonight.
There's a Norwegian PDF available too explaining the procedure, but after...
Huawei Norway said earlier today that the 2.2 upgrade for the "original" S7 (single cam sold here in Norway) is ready for release, but they are waiting for an approval from Google.
Due to the Easter holiday, the release probably won't happen until a bit into next week at the earliest...
So far I don't share your feelings.
Lots of handsets, not to mention "chinese tablets", are still running 2.1 and earlier, and Huawei (as many other manufacturers) has chosen to add their own user interface (I would prefer naked Android, but that's another thread) which I assume must be adjusted...
Just a heads-up.
Huawei today officially released/announced the upgraded version of the Ideos S7 tablet here in Norway.
The new Ideos S7 has a 1Ghz Snapdragon CPU and a capacitive multi-touch capable screen.
It also has two cameras which is new for us Norwegians, as the old model sold...
I have today received another confirmation from Huawei Norway that a software upgrade to 2.2 Froyo indeed will be released, this time they said around March/April, which corresponds well with this post on the Huawei forum:
Huawei Technical Forum: ADOBE FLASH PLAYER JAVA ...
But I still don't...
And I can confirm that it's the exact same charger that my S7 came with originally here in Norway.
I contacted Huawei Norway directly via their Facebook page, and got an answer from an employee who basically said "sure, no problem, I'll send you two - what's your shipping address?"
Of course...
Peter,
I hate to be the carrier of bad news, but lately I've become a bit worried about Huawei Norway's previous promise.
The reason is that they made the same 2.2 promise for another handset, the U8230 phone, which they now have turned around on and their official response is now that they...
Sorry, I was later told it only contains norwegian language support and predefined APN definitions for Norwegian cell providers.
Not even sure I will bother install it...
Sent from my HTC Desire Z using Android Tablet Forum App
@goodoane, you can make room on the first post for another firmware file - S7V100R001C57B011.zip for Norway.
I was told by Huawei Norway that it will be made available shortly, they just need a space on their Norwegian support webpage to place it...
Just to repeat myself on this topic:
So this is far from a confirmation that the 2.2. upgrade will make it to the US through official channels, but as I said I would find it very strange, even after the reply Huawei gave you, if they release a 2.2 upgrade in Norway or Europe, but won't...
I have contacts within Huawei Norway. I will ask them how the extra chargers are supposed to be distributed here in Norway and in USA if they happen to know, but my guess is that major resellers like BB should be able to provide these to their customers - I guess if many enough ask for extra...
I know this thread is for third party chargers, but I would just like to point out that Huawei apparently does in fact provide users and/or resellers with extra chargers.
I have been promised to receive two directly from Huawei right after new years weekend.
When I get them I can provide as much...
