I used to have a real Desk Top format for Yahoo Mail. Hotmail, and Goggle Mail before the ICS upgrade. Now, I am unable to view these mail clients in Desk Top mode. Perhaps I am missing how to do it. Any help\suggestions would be welcome.

Evert app that has the ability to download a file doesn't alwyas indicate where the file is stored. Today I used Real Player to download a video mp4 file, but I can not find it. I do not want to manually search every directory for it. Is the a simple way or app to do a one time search of ALL...

Tried downloading the 3.2 upgrade again, and made it a point to have the Acer fully charged, connected to the charger, and in close proximity to the wireless router. The download was successful, and the file unzipped ok and the installation proceeded smoothly as expected.

We have 3 Acer 500's (NOT Rooted) in our family, two of them got the updates without any problems. However, the third unit is NOT able to complete the update. I hate to perform a factory (hard) re-set on it, as this unit has many apps installed, and is with my non tech Mom who is out of state...

I am using the stock browser only.....no apps. I didn't realize there was a hotmail app. Tell me why I should be using it.

Recently I tried to forward a Hotmail email and discovered that the keyboard would not pop up. Is this just me, or is it some kind of Hotmail or Honeycomb glitch? Is there any way to force the keyboard to appear?

This may sound silly, but, I am trying to enter a colon in a URL, and I can't find it on the keyboard. However, the colon is available on the keyboard if you are typing text in the body of the message.

Have you tried the ESPN app? I use it on my iPod Touch all the time. It also works on my Acer Tab, but, not as well.

My friends tab successfully got the update to 4.010.11_COM_GEN2. But now we have a new problem. It thinks it is the latest update. She never gets notified that update 4.010.13_COM_GEN2 is available. How can I manually update it to 4.010.13_COM_GEN2 ?

Just a quick note to say thanks for the help. The 'soft' reset worked for my friend. I have also heard of cases where the 'soft' reset needs to be tried more than once. As a last resort, you could try a 'hard' reset.
