Hello to all again.
I am happy with the new Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet and I still have some very important (to me) questions:
1. Where is the "Restrict Background Data" option on this tablet?
I have been able to do it with my ASUS TF700 but not with that Galaxy Note 8.0
I am trying to restrict...
I am not new on this forum but very new for the Galaxy Note 8.0 which I just received this week.
Great little tablet which my wife is also using to write her books! She uses the Handwriting to Test feature and it is fantastic! :)
Now for me ... I need some help and hope to find some...
 My email synchronization has gone weird:
Ever since I got my TF700, I have been able to get email notifications right up there on the main screen.
Everything was "synced" perfectly and worked like a charm, until recently! :(
Now, I don't receive email notifications anymore and when...
TITLE ERROR ... Should read: " ...remove ASUS Web Storage from my computer"
ASUS Web Storage keeps on announcing itself at each startup on my computer and it is becoming a real PITA !!
As soon and each time the computer starts up, I keep getting a notification that a new version is...
I regularly use my TF700 for sending/receiving messages via GMail.
When I delete messages from the "received" box and/or the "sent" box, they end up in the trash can.
Once there, they seem to become a permanent fixture! I have yet to find a way to delete them forever, in spite of all of the...
Good evening everyone.
Another of my "newbie" questions:
I have a TV to which I would like to send "signals" from my TF700, wirelessly.
Now, the TV doesn't have a DNLA port BUT my Blu-Ray player does.
With this sort of set up, would I be able to connect the tablet/phone (Samsung Galaxy S2) by...
I used to be able to just go to the tablet left upper corner, tap on "Google" (with the little microphone) and ask a question (such as the very famous "who is the president of the United States"?) and the tablet/Google would talk back and display search pages, as expected.
I didn't think I would be back here so soon with yet another question, but I am stuck.
Here is the "problem":
I had written documents on my mini-computer (mini-laptop) in the Microsoft Word 2010 format.
I copied one document (3 pages - in French) from the mini to a USB key, and this went fine...
When I turn the TF700 ON, there is a notification area on the right of the screen that always shows " 0 emails" even when my Gmail and my Smart phone (Samsung Galaxy S2) show emails have been received.
Why is this showing no emails when I know for sure emails are available to look at ??
Well, I am getting very tired after a few hours (yes... hours!) of trying to figure out a way to download (no WiFi) and install games to the TF700.
I have been trying to browse this site here .... there are so many threads/posts that I can't find exactly what I am looking for. :(
In a nutshell...
I need to connect my DSLR to my TF700, so that I can use the pad as a "monitor", rendering what I see in the camera rear monitor to the screen of the pad itself.
I have in the past made such a connection via the mini HDMI port of the camera to my HDTV and that worked great.
Now, I am trying...
Good afternoon everyone ! :)
Well, after much searching and trying different tablets, I finally opted for this splendid ASUS TF700 (Infinity) tablet just today.
The unit is presently charging (100% for the tablet and 80% now for the docking station) ...
And of course, I have several questions...
