7" MID android 2.2 tablet question

I purchased a 7" MID android 2.2 tablet from china

a couple of questions ..

can you change where the tablet saves its programs .. I dont want to save to SD would prefer to save to the tablet and dont know how or if its possible

also can adroid 2.2 be upgraded , do I need to at all and how do I do it
